AMbitious is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102. This accessibility statement applies to am-bitious.de.

Compliance Status

This website is almost fully compliant with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 (Conformance Level AA) and the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), subject to the exceptions listed below. Critical technical barriers (Category 1) have been successfully resolved.

Non-Accessible Content

The remaining limitations fall under the legally permitted exceptions:

1. Non-Compliance with Accessibility Regulations

• None: As of the latest review (May 2026), no critical technical non-conformities related to website structure, form navigation, or keyboard accessibility are known.

2. Disproportionate Burden (Category 2)
The following aspects have not been adjusted due to the protection of brand identity or because the required effort would be disproportionate:

• Color Contrast within the Corporate Design: Texts in the newsroom, filter options within the training overview, and key headings use our brand-specific colors. In some cases, these do not meet the required contrast ratio.
• Interactive Elements (Touch Targets): The clickable areas of certain elements (e.g., pagination controls) do not always meet the minimum size requirements for mobile touch interactions. A redesign of the layout is currently considered disproportionate.

3. Third-Party Content (Category 3)
Some externally integrated functionalities are outside our direct technical control:

• Cookie Banner (Usercentrics): Contrast issues within the user interface.
• Security Widget (Friendly Captcha): Insufficient contrast for links and system texts provided by the vendor.
